The Nordic Number Office (NNO) /Nordisk Nummercentral (NNC)

The Nordic Number Office handles the allocation of Nordic Article Numbers (NAN)/varenummer (Vnr) for medicines with a marketing authorization in the Nordic countries (Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden).

The Nordic Number Office, which was operated by the Norwegian Pharmacy Association in Norway, was moved to the Pharmaceutical Information Centre /Lääketietokeskus in Finland 1st of April 2010, and has changed name to the Nordic Number Centre (NNC).
